What a day! Our pack explored, sniffed, splashed, played, and made the most of every minute on their adventure. From woodland trails to open fields, every dog had the chance to burn energy, build confidence, and enjoy safe, enriching fun with friends.

Happy dogs, wagging tails, and tired pups ready for a well-earned nap when they got home. 💛

A little something different from Golden Tails 🤎🐴

Over a year ago, I founded my second business, Golden Strides Track Livery, and it all started because of my own horse, Smartie.

Since I’ve had Smartie, she came to me with lameness, ulcers and was just unhappy. She was showing this through her behaviours, and I knew I needed to find a different way for her.

I tried her on a local track and the change in her was incredible. It got me thinking… why couldn’t I create our own?

Traditional yards just don’t suit most horses — just like us in lockdown, being stuck inside for 12+ hours a day makes anyone fed up and effects the body so much more than you realise.

So, I had the crazy idea to create our own track… and Golden Strides was born.

Spoiled is an understatement when it comes to Smartie, but she’s worth it. 🤎 She’s now looking fantastic and is genuinely the happiest I’ve ever seen her, and watching that transformation has taught me SO much about horses and how they’re meant to live.

What started with just wanting to give my own horse a better life has now grown into a track that is home to 6 horses, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful.

I thought I’d share it on here too, just in case anyone would like to have a little look at what we’ve created. 🐴🤎

A day in the life of a 23-year-old business owner… 🐾✨

Early mornings, muddy boots, wagging tails and a job that never really feels like work.

From planning group adventures and caring for every dog as if they’re my own, to running the business behind the scenes, every day is different—but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Building this from the ground up has taken hard work, consistency and a whole lot of love for what I do. Watching Golden Tails continue to grow and seeing the trust our clients place in us makes every early start worth it. 💛

The nanny of all our group walks, the calm in the chaos, and quite simply the best doggie in the world. 💛

Nina has a heart of gold and has welcomed so many dogs into our adventures with her gentle, patient nature. Whether she’s helping nervous newcomers find their confidence or keeping the youngsters in check, she’s always looking after everyone around her.
