🎃🧁 RUN, DON’T WALK… THE CHARITY BAKE IS BACK, AND IT’S SPOOKIER THAN EVER! 👻💕
It’s been FOUR whole years since our last charity bake, when by Bethany and I made a whopping 200 cupcakes and spent over 12 HOURS baking! 👩🍳
We’re back, and we’re hoping you haven’t forgotten just how much you loved them! This time, we’re bringing you a special HALLOWEEN EDITION! 🎃
💕 BAKING FOR OUR BEAUTIFUL LOTTIE & CCHS UK 💕
This year, we’re raising money for a charity that is incredibly close to my heart, in support of my BEAUTIFUL niece, Lottie. ❤️
Lottie has an extremely rare condition called Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome (CCHS), a genetic condition that affects the body’s ability to control breathing automatically.
For most of us, breathing is something we never have to think about. However, for people with CCHS, the nervous system doesn’t respond properly to rising carbon dioxide levels, meaning their breathing can slow down or even stop.
This is particularly dangerous during sleep, although some people with CCHS can also experience breathing difficulties while awake.
🌍 There are only around 150 known cases in the UK and 1,400 worldwide!
Our chosen charity, CCHS UK, does incredible work supporting individuals and families affected by this rare condition, connecting families, providing vital education and helping to fund research.
Every cupcake purchased will help us raise money and awareness for a cause that means the absolute world to our family. 💗
