🔍 CAN YOU SPOT THE SIGNS? 🐾

Pets are very good at hiding when they're not feeling well, so sometimes the changes can be easy to miss.

Keep an eye out for things like:

🐾 Sleeping more than usual
🍽️ Changes in appetite
💧 Drinking more or less
🚽 Changes in toileting
🐶 Becoming quieter or more withdrawn
❤️ Changes in their usual behaviour

You know your pet better than anyone. If something feels different, it's always worth paying attention.

Sometimes, spotting a small change early can make a big difference. ❤️

Did you know we have a dedicated space to help make your cat's visit a little less stressful? ❤️

Our KALLAX unit is there for you to use when you arrive with your cat.

🧺 There are blankets available to cover carriers and help your cat feel safe and secure these are in the baskets below

🌿 We also have Pet Remedy available to help create a calm environment.

🐾 We recommend placing your cat's carrier into the cubes rather than on the floor.

So next time you visit with your cat, please feel free to make use of our cat-friendly area.

A few little changes can make a big difference to your cat's experience at the vets. 🐱❤️

🐾 Is your pet itchy? 🐾

August is a great time to talk about something many pet owners know all too well — itchy pets! 🐶🐱

A little scratching now and then can be normal, but if your pet is constantly scratching, licking, chewing or rubbing themselves, it could be a sign that something isn't quite right.

There are lots of possible causes, including:

🐜 Fleas and other parasites
🌿 Allergies
🦠 Skin infections
🥩 Food sensitivities
🧴 Skin irritation

Look out for signs such as red or sore skin, hair loss, excessive licking, recurrent ear problems or changes in your pet's behaviour.

If your pet is constantly itchy, don't just put it down to them being a "scratchy" pet. ❤️

Our veterinary team can help investigate the cause and find the most appropriate way to keep your pet comfortable.
