With the weather, I'd already made some adjustments to grooms today and tomorrow to make sure the dogs in my care are kept comfortable.

I've also had some unexpected family circumstances come up, which have meant I've needed to take some time away from work.

🐾 STOP BRUSHING YOUR DOG EVERY DAY! 🐾

Well… sort of! 😄

You don’t necessarily need to brush your dog every single day to keep their coat in good condition 🫶
A proper thorough brush 2–3 times a week can be much more effective than a quick brush over every day 🤔🙌

The important bit is HOW you brush.
Using the right brush, the right products and working through the coat properly .... right down to the skin .... makes all the difference! AND always finish with a comb to check you haven’t missed those sneaky little tangles..... 😬👍

Pay particular attention to the areas that knot easily ... behind the ears, armpits, legs, feet and anywhere a harness or collar sits 🐩
It’s not about brushing more 🐶 it’s about brushing better 😄

Not sure what brush, comb or products are best for your dog’s coat 🤔 just ask me at your next appointment 🩷

For now, my books are closed to new clients while I focus on the dogs already in my care 🤗 Keeping my client list manageable allows me to continue providing my calm, one to one grooming experience that I pride myself on 🐾🐾 I will update when my books reopen 🙂

If you're one of my existing clients, please try to book as far in advance as possible. We can do this together when you're in the salon next or message me your preferred dates/times and any preference to Chatsworth Road or HolmeHall, I will check my availability and get back to you as soon as possible. Some clients book a few appointments ahead while others book for the year 🫶

Booking in advance helps you secure the most convenient dates ... while helping me to continue giving all my dogs the time, care and understanding they deserve 😊🐩
