Running a cat rescue comes with so many costs, and right now, we have a lot of veterinary bills to cover in a very short space of time. 😿
We have recently paid a vet bill of over £1,000, and the costs just keep coming!
🐱 HERE'S WHAT WE'VE HAD AND WHAT'S COMING UP
💉 4 first vaccinations and health checks
✂️ 3 spays and 1 castration
🦷 Lilly is in for a dental
✂️ 3 more spays
🩺 2 consultations for cats who are unwell ended up with blood tests and treatment
📅 And next week, we already have:

🐾 2 castrations
💉 1 vaccination
The estimated cost for this short period alone is at least £1,500! This is a huge amount for a rescue to cover in such a short space of time, especially on top of the bills we've already paid.
These aren't optional extras. They are essential veterinary treatments that help keep our cats healthy, prevent unwanted litters and give every cat in our care the chance of a better life. ❤️

🐾❤️ WHY DO WE DO THIS?
We want to:
🐱 Reduce the number of unwanted cats and stray through neutering. This prevents suffering, disease and straying whilst helping to tackle the ever growing population.
💉 Protect cats from preventable illnesses through vaccination and appropriate parasite treatments.
🩺 Ensure every cat who comes into our care receives the veterinary treatment they need.
🏡 Provide a safe haven for homeless, abandoned and vulnerable cats.
❤️ Be able to say YES when a cat desperately needs a safe place with us.
🐾 Continue growing so we can help even more cats whose lives need changing.
We are here to support our local community and the cats who need help within it. When space and resources allow, we also help further afield.
But we cannot do this alone.
Every cat we take in needs food, shelter, care and veterinary treatment. The costs add up quickly, and without your continued support, our ability to help is limited.
We want to reduce the cat population through neutering, prevent illness wherever possible, provide the care every cat deserves and have the resources to help those who have nowhere else to turn.
We want to be able to say YES to the next cat who needs us. ❤️
