Hi, I'm Shelley, and I'm the face behind ๐๐๐๐ง๐๐ฎ'๐จ ๐9 ๐๐๐ก๐ ๐จ. ๐พ
I've been a professional dog walker for over five years, and dogs aren't simply my job - they're genuinely my passion. ๐งก
๐พ I'm local - based in Shuttlewood and covering Bolsover, Clowne, Duckmanton, Woodthorpe and surrounding areas.
๐พ Reliable all year round - rain, shine, mud โฆ if I'm working, your dog is getting their walk! ๐ง๏ธโ๏ธ
๐พ Five-star reviews from my lovely customers, many of whom have been with me for years.
๐พ Safe, secure transport - your dog travels in a secure set-up with their safety and comfort always a priority.
๐พ Fully insured, DBS checked & Canine First Aid trained.
๐พ Your dog's safety comes first. Groups aren't simply thrown together to fit as many dogs as possible. I carefully consider temperament, personality, confidence, age, size, energy levels and ability when putting groups together.
๐พ No dog is ever treated as โjust another walkโ. I get to know every dog's individual personality, their likes, dislikes and little quirks. Building a relationship with the dogs in my care is a huge part of what I do - I want them to feel safe, comfortable and genuinely excited to see me. ๐งก
๐พ I understand that not every dog is suited to group walks. Nervous, anxious, reactive or more particular dogs are treated as individuals, and I'll always be honest about what I think is the best option for them.
๐พ I'm passionate about canine behaviour and body language. I'm constantly learning and developing my knowledge because understanding why dogs behave the way they do is just as important to me as getting them out for a good walk.
๐พ I have dogs of my own, so I understand just how important it is to leave your dog with someone you genuinely trust. When your dog is with me, they're treated as one of my own. ๐งก
๐พ And yesโฆ I am that person who can happily talk about dogs all day. ๐
From body language and behaviour to enrichment, breed traits and everything in between - I absolutely love what I do.
๐ถ Looking for a dog walker who will actually get to know your dog?
I'm currently looking to welcome a small number of new clients following the summer holidays.
If you're local and looking for regular walks for your dog, drop me a message. I'd love to have a chat and see whether Shardy's K9 Walks could be a good fit for you and your dog. ๐พ๐งก
