🐕 Chesterfield Calm & Connected – Supported Group Walks

Following the success of our first Supported Group Walk, where the dogs surprised us with just how well they managed being around one another, we have got another one coming up!

These walks are for dogs who find being around other dogs, people or the world around them a little difficult.

They're small, carefully managed sessions, giving you and your dog the opportunity to practise in real-life situations with support.

We don't walk for miles or expect dogs to get close to each other. Instead, we'll focus on helping you understand your dog's body language, recognise when they need more space and build positive, manageable experiences at a distance that works for them.

• Socialise your dog in a safe and managed environment
• Practise settling around people and dogs in a real-life setting
• Enjoy a coffee and a chat afterwards

Suitable for dogs of all ages who are happy around other dogs and people.

Does your dog find being around other dogs on walks difficult? 🐾

This is something quite a few of my clients have been asking for, somewhere they can practise being around other dogs or people in a supported, manageable way.

So I’ve introduced Calm & Connected Supported Group Walks.

These are small group walks for dogs who might bark, lunge, pull, stare, get over-excited or simply find it difficult to listen when other dogs are around.

With a maximum of 4 dogs, there’s plenty of space and no expectation for dogs to get close.

The sessions are about helping you feel more confident reading your dog, knowing when they need more space and practising things that can make everyday walks easier.
