What a beautiful, wild, wonderful weekend. 🥹💚

I honestly don’t know where to begin with the gratitude.

To every single beautiful soul who travelled from all corners of the country to spend their time, energy and weekend with us Willowfields Sanctuary & Rescue 🫶🏻thank you.
You turned up, rolled your sleeves up and threw yourselves into whatever task was needed, giving so selflessly simply because you care.

There are far too many of you to name, but you know who you are. Please know just how incredibly appreciated you are. 🫶🏼

A very special thank you to the wonderful Graham, who was the driving force behind my brand new pigeon enclosure. What you have created is honestly a true work of art. 🕊️🤍 I’m so excited for the birds to call this beautiful space home.

And then a SUPER special thank you to two absolute legends Caroline's A Vegan & Phil. Your dedication to the cause is unwavering, and the love and energy you pour into everything you do is something very special.
Everyone LOVES you! ❤️

Join us for two unforgettable days celebrating compassion, community and the amazing work of animal rescues. Expect a fantastic festival atmosphere with delicious vegan food, shopping, live entertainment, family activities, rescue organisations, educational talks, children’s entertainment and so much more!

Right lovelies, lots of you have been asking again for another course!
So I’m locking in SUNDAY 28th JUNE 11AM 🙌(2 hours)
Future courses will soon be taking place at Willowfields Sanctuary & Rescue where we will be offering an exciting array of courses!
So make sure to follow them so you don’t miss any coming up!

VENUE: HESWALL, WIRRAL. Address confirmed upon booking.
•
COURSE: How to rehabilitate sick & injured wild birds - This session is a great starting point for those with little to no knowledge, as well as giving newer rehabbers a better insight into understanding your feathered patient. We’ll cover how to give life saving care to an injured, poorly or orphaned wild bird and much more!

BOOKING: Places do fill up fast so please book asap!
To secure your place all I ask is for a donation of £25 towards the Sanctuary to help towards the running costs.

✨ AN • EXCITING • NEW • CHAPTER ✨
🕊️So many questions…

After more than a decade of running my sanctuary largely single handedly, I’m incredibly excited to have shared our big news with you all recently 🙌

As many of you know, caring for wildlife and providing sanctuary for animals has been my life for many years.
It has been a journey filled with challenges, rewards, heartbreak, and countless success stories. But no matter how much passion you have, there comes a point where you realise that together, you can achieve even more. That’s why I’m thrilled to announce that I have officially joined forces with my wonderful friends at Willowfields 🦃

This merger means that, for the first time in over ten years, I won’t be doing it all alone. Instead, I’ll be part of a dedicated team, a new family, united by the same vision and determination to help as many animals as possible.

We have already started work on a much needed larger enclosure for my disabled pigeons, who will be moving to the Willowfields site, along with some of my other birds, over the course of this year.
A number of enclosures housing my most needy birds will remain here with me, where they will continue to receive the specialist care they require.

Joining forces with Willowfields does not mean stepping away from my birds. Quite the opposite. I will still be caring for them and overseeing their welfare, along with playing a big part in maintaining the care of the many birds already safely homed at Willowfields. The difference is now I’ll have much-needed support with the day-to-day responsibilities, allowing me to do even more for the animals who need us.

As we continue this exciting transition, our social media presence here will gradually become less active as we combine our accounts.

My good friend Suz, the face behind Willowfields, and I have some exciting ideas, ambitious plans, and dreams for the future. We can't wait to bring you along for the journey and show you what we can achieve together.
