Rusik Siberian Cats My name is Cathrine and I am a small Fife registered hobby breeder of the traditional Siberian Cat. My main aim is to breed for health and temperament.

It is also a huge bonus if I can help people with allergies be able to live with a kitten. All the kittens so far has gone to allergy homes. Why the name Rusik? Rusik was the first Russian police sniffer cat at Stavropol near the Caspian sea. He made an important contribution in the search for hidden illegal cargoes of Sturgeon fish, an endangered species, and caviar. Rusik began his crime-fightin

g career when he appeared at the police checkpoint in 2002. Following his adoption by the staff, Rusik demonstrated his ability to sniff out sturgeon-smugglers' stashes with astonishing accuracy. His talent for sniffing out poached fish soon found him taking over the job of the police's canine team member. Rusik died in the line of duty on 12 July 2003, when he was hit by a mafia owned car during an inspection. He had apparently found smuggled sturgeon in the same car some time before, according to personnel at the police checkpoint. Some local sources expressed their belief that Rusik was the object of a contract killing, but the truth is still unclear.

Look at this gorgeous little bundle ❤️❤️. Long awaited Hannah and Xavi litter.

Life as a breeder doesn’t always go to plan. These little ones decided to arrive 4 days early. For a human that doesn’t sound like a lot, but for a kitten with already short gestation it can be significant. They arrived smaller than what Rusik kittens normally are, but full of life and very active.
Weight gain first two days was slow but they have all gaining nicely at the moment.

At the moment it looks like 2 solid black kittens and the rest are blotched tabby. I think 4 girls and 2 boys, but a little early to be 100% sure.

Can’t believe Yamila and Odin’s kittens are 4 weeks already 🥰.. They are big and strong ❤️.

These are kittens from Yamila and Odin. They are so incredibly cute. Yamila is an amazing mum and very inlove with her babies.

3 boys, 1 red, 2 red silver
3 girls, 1 silver, 2 torties

We have 5 kittens, 3 brown tabby girls and 2 solid black boys.
