At Merlin we believe all dogs should have the opportunity for correct social interactions,sadly we meet so many dogs whose owners have been mis informed on what is correct socialisation when they collect their new puppy and as trainers we then have the task along with the owners of redressing the unwanted behaviours that while “cute” in a puppy are not so cute or acceptable in an adult dog.
Our life skills class creates real life situations in a controlled environment for owners and dogs to learn the skills for a happy and social dog.

Our life skills classes could teach you and your dog skills that will help reduce unwanted behaviours , increase your dogs desire to be with you , help make walks a pleasure again for both of you.
Life skills classes are suitable for all ages from puppies to the older dog that may have lost a few manners over time.
When - Mondays 6-7pm
Where - Merlins K9 Academy , Wervin CH2 4BX (5 mins from Cheshire Oaks)
How much - 4 weekly block £40
Pay as you go £12 per class

Meet your trainer!⬇

Carol has been working with dogs since her teen years (we won't tell you how long ago that was...😜) in various rescues, and started her training journey with German Shepherds in competitive obedience! She then fell in love with Collies (and agility) and has owned numerous since. Throughout the years Carol has been on countless courses, workshops, and talks on everything from behaviour to nutrition to body language and more!👩‍🏫

Her current youngster, Luna, is a farm-bred collie working towards competing in agility - but mainly, is a family pet who loves hikes, swimming, and playing with her doggy friends.
