Do you know which vaccinations your cat needs, and when they need them?

Vaccinations help protect cats against serious infectious diseases and are an important part of routine preventative care. Keeping them up to date also gives your veterinary team a chance to review your cat’s health and make sure their vaccination schedule is right for them.

Our helpful vaccination guide explains what to expect and when your cat may need their vaccinations.

Veterinary Receptionist Appreciation Day! ❤️

There’s nobody we appreciate more than our receptionists! They’re the team who keep the whole practice running. From the concerned voice at the end of the phone when you need help with your pet, to the friendly face who greets you as you arrive at the clinic, the organised individual who keeps all our vets in check and the caring person who’s there as a shoulder to cry on when you go though tough times, our receptionists really do it all!

We couldn’t run the practice without you, thank you! ❤️

Meet the very mellow Merlin 🐱

This happy boy was enjoying some well earned fuss during his Pet Health Check appointment! 🥰
He's a firm favourite of Nurse Linzi's and it's not hard to see why 💚
When it came to listening to his heart, all Linzi could hear was a very loud purr!

We absolutely love seeing a calm and content cat in our consult rooms.
As a cat friendly practice here at Chester Le Street, we do our best to make visits as relaxed and stress-free as possible for our feline friends! 😽

Rosie isn't the biggest fan of having her little feet touched, especially when it comes to clipping her nails.
However, her beloved owner always comes fully prepared with some homemade, dog-friendly ice cream which helps as a distraction! 🍦😋

The ice cream provides Rosie with some much needed stimulation and helps take her mind off having her nails clipped. ⚙🧠
She gets to enjoy a tasty treat while we get those little nails trimmed - it's a win win! 💪
And the fact that she absolutely loves it is an added bonus! 🥰🌟

🖤🐈‍⬛Black Cat Appreciation Post 🐈‍⬛🖤

Meet Beansprout and Broccoli!
We absolutely LOVE their names! 🫘🥦

These little panthers came to see Nurse Leanne for their 2nd Vaccinations 🫶💉

Fun Fact: Black cats can sometimes have faint 'Ghost Stripes' hidden beneath their dark fur which can show up in certain lighting! 👻🔆
