👀 Harvest mites 👀

Have you checked your dog for harvest mites? Also known as berry bugs! These appear late august - early october and latch onto the skin, feeding on the skin fluid cells..

You might find your dog biting, itching or chewing their paws more as well as armpits tummy and toes.

They look like orange specs as per the below photos, and usually are found when the weather is super dry where they attach onto dogs through tall grass.

Unlike fleas, these arent difficult to get rid of and a simple treatment can be bought from local pet shops and online at Amazon without a vets prescription. (You dont need to feel itchy with these guys - theres no need to flea bomb your house 😀 )
