We provide excellent, ongoing training in handling, first aid and canine behaviour. We also provide a stream of new business and will support you every step of the way.

Neutering your dog — will it actually change their behaviour?

For years, neutering has often been suggested as a way to make dogs calmer, reduce aggression, or solve unwanted behaviour.

But is it really that simple?

The relationship between neutering, hormones and canine behaviour is much more complicated than many people realise.

Neutering can influence some hormone-driven behaviours, but it isn't a cure for reactivity, poor recall, lead pulling, anxiety or over-excitement. In some dogs, particularly when neutered before maturity, there may even be an impact on confidence and emotional development.

So, should you neuter your dog? And when is the right time?

That's exactly what our Beginners Gundog Course is designed to do.

Over 8 fun weeks you'll learn how to:

✔ Build focus around distractions
✔ Channel hunting instincts appropriately
✔ Introduce retrieving games
✔ Develop calmness and self-control
✔ Create a stronger connection with your dog

No previous gundog experience needed.

Whether you have a pet Spaniel, Labrador, Retriever, Cockerpoo or another active breed, these skills can make everyday life easier and walks far more enjoyable.

It's such a privalege to care for your dog in their older years

Now that our Florence is 13, she is sleeping more and occasionally gets a little confused. We work hard to keeping her weight down to prevent osteo-arthritis and a raw diet has definately helped 🥩

As she gets older we'll be offering her shorter walks a couple of times a day rather than her usual morning hike 🐶🐾

If you have an older dog and are interested in 121 care, and shorter pootles, led by them please do reach out 🥰

What's better than one Bernese mountain dog....two!!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Those who know me well know this is quite a treat! Today myself and Stacey introduced young Coco (pure Bernese - the bigger dog) with Woofy (Bernese/Collie cross)

We have had slow introductions into group walking with both dogs as youngsters - working on overplaying & mouthing and pleased to say they were both very good with their communiction today 🙌🙌

We did our group walking team training in the field (quite literally this month) with the help of gorgeous client dog, Aldo & Sue's lab Dizzy 🥰

We worked on promted and unprompted recall and got Aldo trotting like show pony 🐎😆

Rewarded the dogs with a dip in the lake and some blackberry scrumping was enjoyed too! 💧
