Sadly we are very sorry to say that we have found a deceased cat on Warden Hill Road.❤️

The cat is grey and white and has a microchip, but unfortunately, the chip is not registered, so we have been unable to identify their owner. 😞

🐾⭐️ Meet Mollie ⭐️🐾

We had the pleasure of seeing Mollie, a gorgeous 4‑year‑old fluffball, in today for her annual vaccination. She posed perfectly for her photo — though we suspect the promise of a treat may have helped her strike that model‑worthy stance.

Keeping your pet’s vaccinations up to date is incredibly important. It protects them from serious diseases, keeps them safe during social interactions, and ensures they can enjoy life to the fullest. Regular boosters are a simple way to give your pet long‑term health protection.

🐾🐶 Meet Ivy 🐶🐾

We had a brilliant little moment yesterday — Ivy, the confident 4‑year‑old Spocker, decided the reception desk was exactly where she needed to be!

She jumped up without a second thought and happily settled in for a fuss. Tail wagging, big smile and full of charm.

It’s safe to say she brightened up the whole front desk. 💫

A cuppa, a catch-up and a very special visitor 🧡

It was wonderful to welcome our much-loved vet and practice principal, Richard, into the practice for a visit. Some of the team were lucky enough to catch up with him over a cuppa—and the smiles say it all.

We also wanted to reassure his lovely clients that he’s doing OK. He’s still recovering, but misses you and your animals very much.

Richard shared just how much the visit meant to him:

“Arvonia Vets is such a big part of who I am, and being away has left a real gap in my life. I miss the team, our clients and their animals enormously. Coming in to see everyone was emotional, but hugely uplifting too.”

We hope he’ll be able to return to the practice in time, but there’s no date in mind just yet. For now, his recovery comes first.

Although not everyone got to see him this time, he’s very much in all our thoughts. Lovely to see you, Richard—there’s always a warm welcome waiting for you at Arvonia Vets. 🧡

🐾 Pet Obestity Awareness Month 🐾

We all adore our pets — the treats, the table scraps, staying in bed instead of a walk because its raining… but during Pet Obesity Month, we want to gently remind owners that sometimes showing love in the wrong way can do more harm than good.

Carrying extra weight puts pets at risk of joint problems, diabetes, heart strain, breathing issues, and a shorter, less comfortable life. The good news is that small changes can make a huge difference.

Our nurses offer a friendly free Weight Clinic if you’d like help managing their weight, food plans and just general advice on keeping your pets healthy. Or, feel free to bring them in and pop them on the scales anytime!

🌯🐱Burrito the receptionist🐱🌯

Weve had another determined visitor today wanting to show off their receptionist skills!

Burrito the kitten decided he was more than ready to take over the desk.

He climbed up, sat himself right in front of the computer, and gave us his best “I’m ready to greet clients now” stare. Big eyes, tiny paws, full confidence. Honestly, he looked like he was about to start booking appointments and answering phones.

I dont think we will have any complaints, just look how cute he is!

💛🐾 Meet Brandy 🐾💛

We’ve been absolutely loving all the puppies we’ve had in recently, and last weeks little visitor was no exception.

Brandy came in for her second vaccinations, and she completely stole the show the moment she arrived. Just look at those beautiful ears 😍
