*Warning upsetting post*

Very sadly, a deceased RTA cat has been brought into us this morning. He is a male entire black and white cat, wearing a green kitten collar. He is estimated to be between 3 and 6 months old. He was found on Malvern Road in Cheltenham and is unfortunately not microchipped.

Please contact us if you know of anyone missing a beautiful boy who matches this description.

Due to our increasing workload we are excited to be looking for a new receptionist to join our wonderful team.

As a key part of our team, you will be the friendly face of our practice. It is a highly varied job and we are looking for someone who fits in with our values and strives to provide exceptional levels of customer care.

What we are looking for:
- Previous customer service experience preferable but not essential
- Fantastic people skills
- Confident use of computers and technology
- Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure
- Ability to commute to and from the practice between 8AM and 7PM

What we are offering:
- Most importantly the opportunity to be part of a lovely, friendly, independent practice. This job can be tough at times, but we will offer the training and support needed.
- Hourly rate dependent on experience
- Benefits - workplace pension, 5 weeks holiday pro rata excluding bank holidays, staff discount, health cash plan and rewards program.
- Uniform provided
- Part time position - 23 hours a week split over 4 days:

Mon: 9am - 3pm
Tues: 9am - 3pm
Fri: 1pm - 7pm
Sat: 8am - 1pm

That time of year is here again, where grass seeds are everywhere we look!
Molly’s dog Ned had one stuck up his nose, but had it safely removed under sedation by the wonderful Alex and Millie and is now back to his usual self!

It’s difficult to avoid grass seeds, but the main advice is to avoid long grass where possible. For dogs with a longer coat, we would recommend having a shorter groom around their paws. Grass seeds can become stuck in ears, eyes, noses and paws, so it’s worth checking your pets over after spending time outdoors, and to call us if your pet shows any signs of having a grass seed stuck, such as shaking their head, sore eyes after being outside, excessive sneezing, or showing any signs of paw related discomfort. We can then arrange for them to be seen and get them back to their happy selves!

We sadly also had another stray cat found and brought in to us on Thursday, who is currently being looked after by a fosterer. She is a female tabby kitten, approximately 10 weeks old, with no microchip. She was found in the Cirencester Road area on Thursday just before 4pm. If you are her owner, or know any further details at all, then please do call us on 01242 781381. Please note that proof of ownership will be required to collect her.
