🍂🍃Autumn Hazards! 🍃🍂
Some hazards are seasonal and can be more of a threat at this time of year. 🍄
🌰 Conkers and Acorns: can cause choking or toxic reactions if swallowed
🍄Mushrooms and Fungi: can be harmful if ingested. Be cautious during walks!
❄Antifreeze: sadly antifreeze is hugely toxic to cats. Uncleaned spillages can get on their paws, meaning they ingest the antifreeze as they clean themselves. Keep bottles sealed and clean spills immediately.
🎃Halloween treats: chocolate, raisins, and sweets with xylitol in them are dangerous for pets. Keep the treats out of reach!
🌙Darker mornings and evenings: as the days get shorter, stay safe and visible on your morning and evening dog walks with reflective collars and leads.
🍂Autumn plants that are poisonous to pets include Ragwort, Horse Chestnnut, Amaryllis, Autumn Crocus, Chrysanthemum, Yew, Rowan, Hydrangea.
