A busy Monday today, we welcomed two newbies Rosie and Cindy 👋🏼 Then working on Goose's settle behaviour in public places and Gunners training walk 🥰
Rosie's owner got in contact for help with overactive behaviours at home. We've recommend some breed specific outlets such as gun dog training and scent work to help with breed fulfilment which should curb some of her overactive behaviours in the home.
Cindy's owners got in contact for help with hard mouthing, counter surfing, inability to settle as well as general obedience. We had an initial consultation to discuss her history and behaviour problems at length. We've identified a few behaviour concerns that would indicate underlying pain so we've recommend a pain trial in the meantime while we get her programmes written up.
We had Goose's training walk, working on settling in public places and reactivity towards dogs. After a rocky few weeks he seems to have settled down and was an angel today on his session!
We then saw Gunner for his walk, he did some fabulous engage and disengage around other dogs and his recall was spot on as always!
My daughter has started school this month so it's been a busy one so far while she's been settling in. Once she's in full time we'll be able to open up our availability to every day of the week instead of part time!
