It's finally time for some well-earned R&R so that I can continue providing the best service possible for my dedicated clients and their exceptional dogs.

And most excitingly of all - it's for my honeymoon!

I am off from today (Monday 22nd June), and will be answering messages and enquiries from Wednesday 8th July onwards.

Congratulations to Team Bailey for completing his Puppy Starter Programme ๐Ÿฅณ

Bailey and his family have been outstanding during our time together. From securing basic obedience, to building impulse control, to mastering his first off lead walks, they aced every goal.

I have been especially proud of their confidence in his recall, as this was a massive hurdle from the get-go. They remained consistent, went out of their comfort zone, and the results truly speak for themselves - evidenced by his epic focus throughout his first walk around Pittville Park, larely off-lead throughout!

As I always find with Cavapoos and similar mixes, these two are extremely quick to pick up new learning and eager to please. This is making them a dream to train, although there is a challenge of a language barrier between me and their humans.

Turns out, my Chinese practise on Duolingo doesn't cover dog training jargon!

Gratefully, Google Translate has come in handy and demonstrating the practical skills during 121s has ensured their family can efficiently continue the training, with some fantastic results already to address their jumping up, as well as focus out of the home.

Congratulations to Team Koda, Team Bracken and Team Twiglet for completing UK Sniffer Dogs Scent Detection (Silver) ๐Ÿฅณ

These three blew me away with how quickly they picked up the new scents introduced, and all made wonderful progress learning how to retreive a hidden scented item. Considering none of them would fetch toys before, I'm beyond thrilled with how well they and their handlers took to this challenge with all dogs performing deliveries to the hand!

Here are the final timings:
๐ŸŒŸ Koda: 8/8 hides found in 2 minutes, 28 seconds (2m 28s quicker than Bronze)
๐ŸŒŸ Bracken: 8/8 hides found in 3 minutes, 55 seconds (19s quicker than Bronze)
๐ŸŒŸ Twiglet: 6/6 hides found in 4 minutes, 22 seconds (1m 24s quicker than Bronze)

A big welcome to Bailey ๐Ÿ‘‹

Bailey, the 3-month-old Patterdale Terrier, has been soaring with his Puppy Starter Programme focused on "all things puppy"!

The biggest goal for Bailey's family has been recall, after some very scary incidents with their older dog when she was younger led to them never having the confidence to let her off lead in public.

Fast forward to now, and this epic little man has been demonstrating some of the best recall I've ever seen in such a young puppy - including whilst being mid-run towards another dog!

There's a lot more to build with Bailey, but I couldn't be prouder of the wins his family have enjoyed already ๐Ÿซถ
