Mel's hedgehog rescue I've been rescuing and rehabilitating hedgehogs for around 1.5 years. I'm in Chelmsford Essex and I'm a small self funded rescue.

I couldn't resist getting a quick video of Lilly 🦔 after she decided to climb out of the box 🎁 I had put her in and walk off across the garden towards my youngest daughter, while I put fresh straw in her house 🏡 .

I wanted to see how Pip 🦔 was walking as part of her daily checks. I put a puppy pad down with a choice of water, oralade and Iams kitten biscuits to encourage her to walk. She however, had other ideas and went on to wee everywhere instead.

Lilly 🦔 has a small wound which she has had for about a week. It has scabbed and the spines within the scab are coming away with the scab. The wound has been cleaned daily and is healing nicely.

After having a wee on the puppy pad, Pip 🦔 decided she was going to have a little snack 🍪. Pip 🦔 seems to have her appetite back 😊.
