Sales Assistant – Full Time🐴
Ingatestone Saddlery Centre is one of the leading country and equestrian retailers, based in Ingatestone, catering for everything horse and rider. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Assistant with good horse and retail experience to join our busy saddlery team.
If you're passionate about retail, enjoy providing excellent customer service, and have a genuine interest in equestrian products, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
• Serving and assisting customers with their purchases
• Providing excellent customer service and product advice
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-presented shop environment
• Replenishing and organising stock
• Creating and maintaining attractive shop displays and merchandising
• Handling telephone enquiries and customer queries
• Assisting with stock counts and general stock organisation
About You
The ideal candidate will:
• Have good horse knowledge and a keen interest in the equestrian industry
• Be passionate about retail and delivering outstanding customer service
• Have previous retail or customer-facing sales experience
• Be punctual, reliable, and flexible
• Have a friendly, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
• Be confident working both independently and as part of a team
• Ideally have proven sales experience in a customer-focused environment
• Be eager to learn and develop their knowledge
This is a full-time role working alternate weekends.

We are absolutely blown away by this stunning and heartfelt poem written by one of our talented Hobby Horse Riders 🐴, which perfectly captures the essence of our community's passion and dedication to the sport.

The words are a beautiful reflection of the joy, excitement, and sense of accomplishment that we strive to create at our events. We create these shows purely for the joy we see on our competitors' faces, and it's moments like these that make all the hard work worth it! Our last show of the year was a great success, with riders of all levels coming together to showcase their skills and sportsmanship. We are so pleased and thankful for those who participate, volunteer, and support us, and we're thrilled to see the bonds of friendship and camaraderie that form among our riders.

We look forward to hosting you all again soon, and can't wait to see what the new year brings for our Hobby Horse community 🐎🐴! We're already making plans for our next event, and we're excited to share the details with you in the coming weeks.
