Hi everyone hope your all well. I just wanted to mention something regarding collection times. I’ve recently had quite a few dogs being collected later than their allocated times.
I completely understand that things like traffic, traffic lights and unexpected delays can happen, and I appreciate that these things aren’t always within our control.
However, as many of the dogs I work with come from nervous or reactive backgrounds, they can become increasingly anxious the longer they are here. This is one of the reasons I allocate specific collection times, as I want to make sure every dog has the calmest and most comfortable experience possible.
As I work on a 1-to-1 basis, I also carefully manage collection and drop-off times to avoid having dogs in the cabin together, as many of my dogs can be reactive towards other dogs. When collections run late, it can make this more difficult to manage and can affect the calm environment I work hard to maintain for everyone.
I’d really appreciate it if everyone could please try their best to arrive at their allocated collection time. If you know you’re going to be delayed, please just let me know as soon as possible so I can try to plan accordingly.
