When it rains it pours!

Another vet visit today as over the last couple of weeks the team and I have noticed that Jessie the goat was losing weight (although eating lots) and also getting food impacted in her mouth.

So a dental was booked with Westpoint Farm Vets and the lovely Ami - two teeth were pulled out that were causing lots of problems and some were also rasped to make her feel more comfortable.

Fingers crossed this should sort the issue out along with some extra feeds to get the weight back on her!

We are still asking for donations towards Tabby's vet bills, but if you would like to donate towards Jessie's, you can use the same link and any donations will also go towards Jessie the goats vet bill! Thank you again for your ongoing support 💜

And just like that....

Our baby goats are now starting to get a bit too big to handle (especially for the little people!) so we have now finished our Pygmy Pals experience for this year! Don't worry though, you can still meet them and have a little snuggle with them on our Pygmy Goat and Sheep Meet and Greet experience🧡

I am THRILLED to say we brought Tabby home yesterday🎊

The vets are still not entirely sure what caused her illness, but I'm just so grateful that both our regular vets Clarendon Equine and the equine hospital RVC Equine were able to help her, stabilise her and treat her.

We will be keeping a very close eye on her and as always trying to ensure she isn't fed anything she shouldn't be (as that was a possibility as well). Tilly is very happy to have her back 💜

She has run up quite a vet bill of around £3000 - quite a hit for a small business, especially with the cost of feed such as hay, only getting more expensive again thanks to the drought. Any donations are very appreciated and thank you to those who have already donated - it really means alot 💜
