Speeeeedy recalls!!

Bella was doing so well with the recall practice during our training session we ‘upped the ante’ and added a distraction… me!!

Learning to peel away from exciting things is great to practice early and maintain going forward. Good job Bella! 🙌

NEUTRAL WALKS ARE BACK!

An on lead only walk, open to all dogs of all ages and training levels. This walk is aimed to be a welcoming environment where you can work on your dogs neutrality and gain a good experience around other dogs, without any on lead greetings. Completely free of charge!

DATE & TIME- Saturday 17th October at 3pm

LOCATION- Cheddar reservoir (we meet in the car park cheddar side)

10 week old Bella braved the rain today for her first training session as part of her puppy package! ✨

Bella showed tons of confidence and resilience while out in the rain ☔️

Today we started to build motivation and engagement, charging a marker word and we even covered some recall techniques! 🥰

It’s super important to exposure our puppies to the wet weather as 80% of the year it’s all we get here in Britain! 😆

Admittedly I’ve been there, done that and worn the T shirt (and woke up the next day with a very sore arm).

That morning I realised I wanted to change how I ran my pack walks.

I didn’t want the 60kg combined pulling force.

I wanted; calmly walking as one.

Some of these dogs in the video couldn’t walk to heel down their road, let alone around other dogs, in exciting places or past distractions. All different breeds, ages and drives. I’m not here to tell you It’s possible, I’m here to show you.
