So last night I happened to spot something strange looking with Miska’s back tooth and on closer inspection it’s obvious she has cracked her tooth!! Now I’m hot on checking my dogs teeth and their gums, but sometimes these things happen!
After a trip to the vets this morning they have confirmed it’s a slab fracture of the 08 and she will be going under next week to have this removed. I was assured this is a recent fracture and I’ve caught it early before any infections or futher problems have started.
Luckily I have insurance as this is not a cheap surgery!!
However my message to you all is, how often do you check your dogs teeth? 🦷

🦷 Regular cleaning at the groomers can help, we know what to look for.
🦷 Regular health checks at your vets
🦷 your dogs teeth are so important to their overall health
It breaks to my heart to think this has been causing her pain and I didn’t know!!

If you do one thing today……check your dogs teeth!
