A slightly different weekend for me...
I was lucky enough to be flown out to Spain to look after Pepe, Walle, Bruce and Bleu while their owners were away ☀️
Like all families, each of them had their own personalities, routines and needs, so my job was simply to keep life as normal as possible while their humans enjoyed some well-deserved time away.
As many of you know, my own dog Luna has medical issues, so I completely understand the anxiety that can come with leaving your dog in someone else's care. It isn't just about finding someone to feed them and let them out - it's about finding someone you trust to understand them, follow their routines, spot when something isn't quite right, and care for them as if they were their own.
That's why I love what I do!
Whether it's a woodland walk, day care or boarding at my home, or in this case caring for dogs overseas, being able to take that worry away and give owners complete peace of mind is one of the most rewarding parts of the job.
The fact that I was trusted to travel to another country and care for four much-loved dogs means a great deal to me, and it's a trust I never take for granted 💚
A huge thank you to their lovely owners for putting their faith in me. Pepe, Walle, Bruce and Bleu certainly kept me busy, and I loved every minute of it 🐾
