Many Tears Animal Rescue (Registered Charity #1192227) is a small rescue centre based in Wales. We rehome approx 3000 dogs per year, as well as cats and other animals. We take in mainly ex breeding dogs but also dogs from the pounds, public hand-ins and a small number from rescues abroad when we can. Many Tears Rescue also runs community programmes, volunteer groups, friendship clubs and hosts edu

cational courses for different groups. It is such a happy place, full of positive energy and where the staff and volunteers work tirelessly to help the animals in their care. All animals that come to the rescue are assessed, health checked, neutered, microchipped and vaccinated before being carefully adopted to their forever homes. Many of the animals arrive with health problems that need to be addressed and so the vet bills, along with the utility bills to heat the kennels and keep the place running are vast. We rely on donations and fundraisers to keep the rescue running and we are so grateful for your support support. ✨ Foster Feature: Nimbus ✨
📍 Swansea, Wales

Beautiful Nimbus came to us from a breeder and when she first arrived, the world felt like a very scary place. She was nervous and overwhelmed, but she has been making wonderful progress and is coming out of her shell more every day. 🩵

Nimbus is now enjoying life in a wonderful foster home, where she is experiencing home life for the very first time. She has settled in really well, has been clean in the house so far and has learned all about walking on a lead and harness. She now loves heading out for walks and has also been enjoying little adventures to pubs and cafés and is doing really well. ☕️

She gets on brilliantly with the resident dog and happily sleeps alongside them all night. She does take confidence from having another dog around, so she will need another kind, friendly resident dog in her forever home to take her under their wing. 🐾

Although Nimbus is still worried about being picked up, she is already jumping up onto the sofa for cuddles, which is incredible progress. She is easy to handle and is even happy to be groomed and have her teeth cleaned.

Nimbus would love to find a calm, quiet home with adopters who understand ex-breeding dogs and are happy to give her the time and patience she needs to continue building her confidence.

She is such a sweet, funny little girl and we know that, with the right family, she will become a wonderful companion. 🩵

Introducing our beautiful, 4 year old cavvy queen, Letti!♥️

This absolute sweetheart has come to us from a breeder and is now ready to take her very first steps into a new chapter of life as a cherished family member. Though the big wide world is still quite new and a little overwhelming for her, her incredibly loving nature shines through in everything she does.

She adores humans and has a deep desire to be close, involved, and right by your side. While she is still a bit wary as she learns to trust, she is always happy to meet new people, provided they approach her with a kind, gentle touch. She is still finding her confidence in unfamiliar environments and can be a little nervous when out and about. However, she’s been doing really well on her lead walks with her kennel friend!

Letti thrives in the company of other dogs, and though she’s on the larger side for a Cavalier, she prefers those who are of similar size or smaller. She would love nothing more than to find a canine companion she can curl up and enjoy a cozy cuddle pile with. However, she’s not a big fan of cats. She can live with dog-savvy teens, aged 13+, who are sensible and allow her time to settle in.

This resilient, gentle hearted girl is looking for a loving home that will give her the time she needs to blossom into the confident, loyal companion she was always meant to be♥️

✨ Foster Feature: Crispin ✨

📍 Chelmsford, Essex

💙 Crispin is doing SO well in foster! 💙

This sweet little boy has really come out of his shell since being in his foster home and is showing us just how loving he is! He absolutely adores his people, loves a cuddle and is happiest when he can be right by your side. 🥰

He’s settled beautifully into foster life and is loving all the little things that come with being in a home. He gets on brilliantly with the other dogs and is completely unbothered by the cats, making himself right at home with his foster family. 🐶🐱

He’s also discovered his love for WALKIES! 🐾 He gets so excited when it’s time to go out and now walks beautifully on both his lead and harness. He loves exploring, meeting other dogs and getting out and about with his foster family. It’s so lovely seeing how much his confidence has grown!

Crispin is still a sensitive boy and can be worried by some men, so he will need a patient and understanding family who will give him the time he needs to feel safe and build his confidence. Once he trusts you, you get to see the most affectionate little boy who just wants to be loved. 💙

We’re so proud of this gorgeous boy and honestly can’t believe he’s still waiting for his forever home! 😭

Crispin has so much love to give and we know there is someone out there who will see what a special little boy he is. He just needs someone to take a chance on him and show him how loved he can be!

Our lovely girl Mika is looking for a calm and understanding home! ❤️

She’s a lovely 5 year old Cocker who has come to us from a breeder and is now ready to leave kennel life behind and start learning what it’s like to be part of a loving home.

Mika is a very sweet girl, but she is extremely nervous of new people. She won’t approach you herself, but she will allow you to handle her when putting on her harness or picking her up to take her into the yard. With the people she knows and trusts, she is a completely different girl. She loves them with all her heart and will happily climb onto their lap for some love and cuddles. 🥹❤️

At the moment, Mika spends much of her day sitting at the back of her kennel, still unsure whether she is safe. It’s heartbreaking to see, but we know that with the right home, plenty of patience and lots of reassurance, she has so much potential to blossom.

Mika is good with other dogs and will definitely need a kind and confident resident dog in her new home to help show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. 🐶❤️

She has only just started learning to walk on a harness and is finding it all a little overwhelming. Her adopters will need to be incredibly patient and understand that she won’t be ready for walks just yet. This is something that will need to be introduced slowly and at her own pace.

Although the big wide world can still be a little scary for Mika, she absolutely loves the freedom of being in the yard, and her little tail is always wagging when she’s out there. 🥹

Mika doesn’t need someone to expect too much from her. She just needs someone who will give her the time, patience and love she deserves, allowing her to discover the world at her own pace.

We really hope her special person is out there waiting for her. ❤️

Meet our lovely boy Forrest! ❤️

Forrest is a 1 year old Collie and has been making such lovely progress since he first arrived at the rescue!

He’s looking for a kind and patient home with at least one resident dog to help bring on his confidence and show him that the world isn’t such a scary place. 🥹

Since being at the rescue, Forrest is now walking on a harness! He’s still very new to this, so his adopters will need to be patient with him and continue working on this with him at his own pace.

Forrest is great with other dogs and absolutely loves his time down in the big yard, running around and having fun with several other dogs. 🐾

He really is such a special boy, and watching him slowly come out of his shell has been such a joy.❤️

We just know that with the right family behind him, Forrest is going to blossom into the wonderful boy we know he can be.✨

Meet our gorgeous George! ❤️

George is a 10 week old Chow Chow x Husky who has come to us from a breeder and is now ready to start looking for his forever home.

George is a little nervous and can be worried, so he will need a kind and patient family who understands that he is only a baby and has so much of the world still to discover. He will need time to find his paws, build his confidence and learn that the world is a safe and exciting place.

George will need a kind and confident resident dog in his new home who he can look to for reassurance and guidance as he learns all about home life. Having a doggy friend by his side will help him feel more secure and give him the confidence he needs to explore his new surroundings. He can also live with older, dog-savvy children who are sensible and understand that he may need some time to settle in.

George has lots to learn, as he has never experienced all the things that come with home life. His adopters will need to patiently help him with house training and, once he is fully vaccinated, teach him how to walk nicely on a lead. He may find some of these new experiences a little worrying at first, so his family will need to take things at his pace, give him plenty of encouragement and help him grow into a happy and confident young dog. ✨

George’s adopters will need to agree to take him to appropriate training and socialisation classes to help him build his confidence and grow into a happy, well-rounded adult dog. They will also need to agree to have him neutered when he is old enough.

George is such a sweet little boy who just needs someone to believe in him. With the right family, plenty of patience and the reassurance of a kind resident dog, we are sure George will blossom into a wonderful companion. ❤️

We are told that George is a Chow Chow x Husky, although it’s possible he may also have some Pomeranian or other breeds in him. Whatever his mix, one thing we know for sure is that he is absolutely adorable! 🥰🐾
