We are a friendly, supportive yard offering assisted DIY, part and ridden livery, with fabulous facilities, plenty of grazing and private off-road hacking.

The horses genuinely want for nothing, and their happiness, wellbeing and individual needs are at the forefront of everything we do — from the care they receive to the routine we follow.

We are very lucky to have the following facilities:

• Private hacking over 250 acres — with no roadwork!
• Newly installed floodlit school, with show jumps and fillers
• Genuine all-year-round turnout, with overnight turnout during the summer months
• Smart, well-maintained stables with electricity
• Tea room and toilet — perfect for enjoying a cuppa and avoiding the housework for a little longer! ☕
• Dog and child friendly, with kennels available for both if required
• Very high levels of care and attention to detail, with every horse and owner treated as an individual

Beautiful to look at, and beautiful personality to match.

17hh, 4 years old, AES registered (By Jacondrik), Smokey black gelding.

Lightly broken and ridden away in walk / trot / canter and over a small fence. Has mostly hacked including past all farm machinery as well as on roads, has been boxed up and hacked elsewhere and has done a small amount of school and pole work.

Ready to find his person to produce.

Good to shoe, load, catch, stable etc

🦄 BRIAN — Genuine, uncomplicated 4yo with a lovely attitude 🦄

Traditionally bred Irish Sports Horse | Bay | 4 years old | Four Figures

Brian is the sort of young horse that is very hard not to like.

Sympathetically and carefully backed and produced, he has a fantastic attitude to his work and is proving to be a very genuine, uncomplicated youngster. He has already experienced a really varied education and is now ready for someone to continue producing him and have lots of fun along the way.

XC: Schooled over ditches, steps, water and Trakehners. He is very genuine, never says no and doesn’t need much hand-holding.

SJ: Jumping courses including fillers, both at home and away.

Hound exercised: Very polite standing around, never strong in the canters and incredibly honest over a few fences.

Fun rides: Has been on fun rides, including being ridden by someone who had never sat on him before, and provided a lovely day out.

Flatwork: Balanced and easy in all three paces.

Hacking: Hacks alone and in company, doesn’t hot up in open spaces, will stand while others leave and doesn’t get upset, isn’t phased by traffic and genuinely enjoys getting out and about.

Brian is also good with the farrier, vet, catching, clipping, worming, loading etc.

I can really see him making a super Riding Club horse, but he has enough jump and ability to also make a lovely Grassroots eventer or mannerly hunter.

He has been given a lovely, varied start to life and is now looking for someone to continue his education and enjoy him. A genuinely kind, willing and straightforward young horse with lots of potential to be a very useful and fun horse.

Alan has been slowly and correctly produced and is now ready to continue his education with someone looking for an exciting event, riding club, or quality all-round prospect.

He has three balanced, athletic paces and a willing attitude to work. He hacks alone or in company, is sensible in open spaces, and has even happily led younger horses. He has cross-country schooled over a variety of fences, including ditches, water and trakehners and has been out show jumping where he has proved bold, careful, and confident. He has also attended dressage with placings, as well as fun rides and hunt rides.

A genuine young horse who improves every time he goes out and gives you the feeling that there is plenty more to come.

On the ground, Alan is a pleasure to have around. He is good to catch, load, travel, farrier, clip, worm and stable, with a kind temperament and excellent manners.

A lovely horse with all the ingredients to make someone a fantastic partner. He will be greatly missed and only has a very bright future ahead of him.

Busy weekend for Brian and Alan, both adverts up this evening a few personal reasons meant horses took a minor back step for the last month but both boys jumped their hearts out this weekend over both cross country and show jumping, neither looked at any of the fences and are both just so straightforward and enjoyable to ride.

5 year old, Irish sports gelding (Pointilliste X Highland King X Master Imp)

He is a true gentleman of a young horse with bags of potential for future eventing. Hacks alone / in company (and in Thunderstorms), loves his jumping both SJ & XC, placed dressage in both classes and has been on hunt rides/fun rides and is ready to go out and have lots of fun and or work towards competition goals.

That was an exceptionally hot week, so hot that by Friday 10am I was sat in a bucket of water to cool down! The horses as always lived the good life of lots of cold showers, hay in shaded areas of the field to encourage them to make good choices and come out of the sun, routine tweaked slightly to make working a touch more bareable and less risk to life mucking out in peak heat in the afternoon, think everyone is excited for normal temps tomorrow and back able to plan fun horsey things next week!
