🚐🐾 Another adventure awaits!

Today Gareth is heading all the way up to Inverness to collect an 18-month-old Border Terrier rescue and bring him safely south to begin the next chapter of his journey. ❤️

Every transport is special, but rescue journeys always hold a little extra magic.

Somewhere along the road today, one dog’s story changes forever as he leaves his past behind and starts a brand-new adventure.

We wish this handsome lad all the luck in the world and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him. 🐶✨

As always, he’s travelling safely and comfortably with a fully insured, DBS checked, pet first aid trained transporter who understands that every animal deserves a calm and stress-free journey.

🚐🐾 I’ve been busy again, guys!

This morning’s journey was taking a lovely lady and her beautiful Labrador to Chantry Brindley Way for X-rays after he injured his leg. 💙

As always, our priority is making sure pets and their guardians get to their appointments safely, comfortably and with as little stress as possible.

We’re all keeping our fingers and paws crossed 🤞🐾 that the X-rays bring good news and that this handsome boy makes a full and speedy recovery.

🐾 NAIL CLIPPING APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE 🐾

Did you know that overgrown nails can cause far more than just a clicking noise on the floor?

Long nails can alter the way your dog stands and walks, placing extra strain on their feet, joints, tendons and spine.

Over time, this can contribute to discomfort, reduced mobility and even long-term musculoskeletal issues.

Regular nail maintenance is one of the simplest ways to support your dog’s overall health and wellbeing.

As part of every appointment we will:

✔️ Check your dog’s paw health
✔️ Inspect nails and nail beds
✔️ Trim excess hair from between the paw pads where required
✔️ Monitor for any concerns that may need veterinary attention

Hair growing between the paw pads can act like a pair of fluffy slippers on hard flooring.
This reduces grip and can increase the risk of slips, falls and injuries, particularly in puppies, senior dogs, dogs with arthritis, mobility issues or recovering from surgery.
Keeping the paws neat and tidy helps improve traction and stability while allowing us to keep a close eye on the overall health of your dog’s feet.

We recommend nail maintenance every 4 weeks for most dogs to keep nails at a healthy length and prevent the quick from overgrowing.

Gareth has had a lovely ride out today through the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds to collect a stunning Dalmatian girl and safely transport her on to the next part of her journey north 🐾

We absolutely love seeing different parts of the UK whilst travelling up and down the country with your pets 🚐🐾

On Friday we had the honour of transporting beautiful Ellie the Labrador on her final journey to Mill Cottage Pet Crematorium, before returning her ashes safely back home with her family on Saturday 🕊️🐾

At the wonderful age of 15, Ellie had a life filled with love, loyalty, adventures and a family who absolutely adored every white hair and wag of her tail.

Fifteen years is never long enough when a dog has left paw prints this deeply on your heart.

The silence they leave behind is deafening, but so is the love they leave wrapped around the memories they gave us ❤️

Thank you to Ellie’s family for trusting us with such an important and emotional journey.
We are sending so much love, strength and healing to you all during this heartbreaking time.
