Today our lovely livery Nat took her boy Ted competing to Manor Grange, their first competition in 14 months and just 5 months after having baby Ace.
After such a long time off, how Ted would rise to the occasion was unknown … however …
Two tests, Elementary 5, 65.94% and Elementary 6, 68.64% and TWO first places and two qualifying scores for the Regionals!!
“By no means mistake free, my fault also, however a fantastic start 😍”
We are so proud of you both and look forward to following Nat & Ted in the future 🥰

So our dressage on Sunday ran ahead with thanks to our liveries and fab clients who put entries in - BUT we then was faced with our poor BD Judge that was booked having an accident and unable to judge, we send all our best wishes for a speedy recovery - so our lovely livery and Judge Sally Beeden put her hand up and said “I’ll judge for you - the show will go on” thankyou so much Sally, another team player. We have such THE BEST yard 🥰

Next to support our dressage was the ever present Anne & Skittle. How these two have developed is truly commendable - Prelim 1, 64.20% & a fab 3rd placing, then onto Prelim 2, 64.13% & another 3rd, fantastic scores and placings. Thankyou for always being that team player and Mrs Reliable 🥰

Also joining in and helping our dressage to run, was our lovely new livery and her stunning girl Rosey. Jo has had Rosey a matter of weeks, a solid 5 year old and her first ever competition, gaining a huge 60.45% was fabulous - she was absolutely amazing and so level headed - a fantastic start to her future. Thankyou Jo for been part of our team 🥰

What fantastic liveries we have! We put a mayday call out as we were low on dressage entries and our guys pulled it out of the bag so the show could go on 🥰
Eva came up trumps and even borrowed a horse to compete. The lovely owner Lynne let Eva compete the beautiful Romy (only her 2nd Dressage outing) and boy did they do it in style. - Intro 1, 70% and a fab 1st placing, then onto Intro 2, 69.54% and another 1st - absolutely fantastic and Thankyou so much for being a team player 🥰

What a fabulous day to hack out, and in such beautiful surroundings. Today our longest reigning livery Emily and forever faithful Ellie went for a ride out in the glorious sun. We are so fortunate to have such fantastic liveries and a beautiful yard 🥰

Friday saw Etty and the ever lovely Nemo attend the BD Quest Club Semi Finals at Pickering Grange. Such a huge competition and the team went with no aspirations than to have a good time. And that that they did! They only went and got 2nd place (only 2% behind the leading team) and now head direct to the Finals in November! We are so proud and look forward to the Finals 🥰

Here at Ledston we pride ourselves on our biosecurity and never cut corners. Once out of isolation etc the horses are put with the others in individual paddocks. We monitor each horse to make sure they get on with their neighbours, if not we do change round. Duke was introduced to the paddocks today, as you see he was completely chilled as were his horsey friends next door

We are so fortunate to have enough unused land for our liveries to make use of, especially now the nights are drawing in, on site and literally a minute from yard is just ideal. Here’s the lovely Linda & Coolio enjoying the freedom - what fab photos 🥰
