Meet Nellie and Goose….
I took Nellie the cocker spaniel on a while ago to try and socialise her and gain her some confidence around other dogs. The first time I met Nel she wouldn’t come near me, go near the car or anywhere near the other dogs. I spent months building her confidence around me and gradually introducing calm dogs to show her there was nothing to be worried about. Nellie is now settled into a full group of 6, happy, confident and will join in the zoomies which is one of the things that used to scare her the most🥹
It wasn’t a fast process but she is absolutely thriving now with all her new friends and drags me out the door when I pick her up🥰
Then Goose the Lab❤️
I took Goose on a few weeks ago to help him socially with other dogs as he wants everyone to be his best friend and can be a little too boisterous resulting in other dogs telling him off!
We did the same thing, added one dog at a time, teaching Goose to meet others calmly and ignore other dogs not in our group. Goose is now in a group of 4, made lots of new friends and is doing amazing🥰
I have some remaining availability Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays for group walks, solos or home visits😊
