The International Canine Behaviourists (ICB) strictly opposes the use of electrical stimulation devices (commonly known as shock collars, e-collars, or remote training collars), electronic containment systems, prong collars, choke chains, anti-bark spray collars, and any physical force, intimidation, or coercion in the training, care, and behavioral modification of dogs.
In alignment with our founding principle, "Welfare Never Compromised," ICB advocates exclusively for evidence-based, reward-based, and force-free methodology. We require all ICB members, certified behaviorists, and affiliated practitioners to adhere strictly to these standards.
