Candice, Abi H and Amber spent the day at the Bath and West for the Field to Food day with over 900 local primary school children.
The children were able to learn more about food and farming, and how vets can fit into this. They played ‘Pin the Organ on Cowpat’ and then were able to listen for the heart, lungs and rumen on a sheep. Big thanks to Anne and David for providing us with the most tolerant sheep, Howard, and bringing Mona the Dexter along to meet the children!
We were really proud to be a part of such a brilliant day, hopefully playing a small part in helping children learn the importance of farming and where their food comes from 🚜🐄🐑🌾
