What a beaut! 🐾

Just me and my silly little life 😁
Being a small business owner means being the master of your own time.
Often more challenging than you thought huh? 😅

Being part of a military family, miles away from home, I choose to spend any spare time I have with the people within my four walls...and the few special friends I make along the way.
Life in the military can be so fleeting, but so rewarding.
I have seen things I never would have seen otherwise, experienced so many corners of Britain, and met special people who would have never crossed my path had we remained in 'civi street'.

I am lucky.
Life is so whole.

Summer vibes all year round.
Say aye. 🙌🏻 😁 🐾

Working from Home on a Saturday isn't that bad. 😁
I am working hard to get all of your Christmas bundles out next week!

As always, thank you all for supporting my small business. I appreciate you all. ❤️ 🐾

Literally fire safety made simple!
Practical, editable downloads to suit any business.

Sharing for my business owner friends who don't want to waste time figuring out how to stay compliant...and then much more time creating the working documents you need to do so. 😅

Thank you all for supporting us! We aim to have all orders out by Friday. 🤞🏻

I truly appreciate how important margins are for independent pet shops -especially over the coming months as we head towards Christmas, and this year we will all be winners! 💪🏻 🎄🐾

A 6 day working week for me, and Monday is pushing a 12 hour shift.

When you are purchasing from small businesses, remember this...

Many of us are a one man...two man...maybe three man band (if we are lucky).

Working around the full-time job, other ventures, Mum responsibilities, and for me, military life...
I'd be pulling the wool over your eyes if I said I never felt overwhelmed.

But...

your order is worth every overwhelming moment.
Truly.

I am super grateful for everyone's continued support. 😘 🐾

This gorgeous boy Quill popped in to Grovely Pets this morning for some new dog gear.
As he is 8 months old and still has some growing to do, he went for an Advance Harness (khaki) in a large; a camo Journey Light collar, and our Freedom to Run Bungee lead to burn off some energy, running with his owners.

He is probably the friendliest Husky I have ever met! Such a beautiful boy! 😊 🐾

The downside of military life!
We are super busy with other projects over the coming months, and watching you all prepare for the big day keeps us going!

We met many amazing small and large business owners, and many, many more dedicated dog owners at Crufts 2024. It was such an honour to have shared the same space with you.

We look forward to your updates throughout Crufts 2025, and fingers crossed we will see you again next year.

I don't think she is a fan of our conker thieves. 😅 🐿️
It has been adorable watching them hide the fallen conkers in our garden though. 😊

Another day. Another happy Labrador. 😁
What have you all got planned for Sunday?

18/09/2024

Today I had the pleasure of fitting this big lad with his first harness and double ended lead. His owner noticed a positive difference in him before he even left the shop!

A few training treats were enjoyed as we fit his first harness - encouraging a positive association from the start. 😊 🐾

10/09/2024

This beautiful rescue girl popped into today for a new collar. How gorgeous does she look in her Journey Light collar in purple/aqua (size Medium). 💜 🐾

08/09/2024

It was great to see our Advance Harness fit such a wide variety of breeds this year - from deep chested bulldogs, to larger Labradors and slimmer Salukis.

Our harnesses have been uniquely created following our own pattern. We chose to steer clear of 'off the shelf' sewing patterns as we found so many harnesses that we tried on Poppy as a growing pup either sat too close to her throat, or too close to her armpits, causing uncomfortable rubbing.

We LOVED hearing all about the adventures you all experience with your pups too - the exact reason why we chose water repellent rip stop fabrics, and comfy jersey lining! We were pleased to hear the wonderful feedback on the comfortable support and structure our harnesses provide.

Clothes influence how we feel, and this is the same for dogs!

08/09/2024

Latest YouTube video is up on the channel (search: The Caird Company). In this video I talk about the basics to get ready to start running with your dog. This can be really challenging for some dogs and you have to put in the effort to get them used to running beside you whilst on lead.

Let me know what you think of the video. We are going to be more consistent with YouTube to help people get running with their bestie.

As always, we are not dog trainers, just sharing what has worked for us 😁

04/09/2024

Another top up order for one of our Aberdeenshire stockists. 😊 🐾

I'm still feeling a bit tired from Dogfest last weekend, but I would do it all again in a heartbeat!

For those of you lucky to attend - what was the highlight for you this year?

Just a quick post - sharing a few more snaps of some of the wonderful dogs we met Bristol this weekend!

It was such a joy, chatting to so many dedicated owners and fitting harnesses on such a great variety of dogs! We were a tad rushed off our feet today, so thank you for being so patient.

Tomorrow we will announce our competition winners, but for now, it is bedtime.
I can feel the post 'Dogfest blues' already. 😅

Special shout out to and
It was lovely to meet, chat, and share thoughts and ideas for upcoming events! We hope our paths cross again.
