🐾 A wee reminder about sickness and daycare 🐾

If your dog has been unwell, we ask that they remain symptom-free for a minimum of 48 hours before returning to daycare.

We know it's frustrating when they seem completely back to normal after a day, but many bugs can still be contagious even after symptoms have stopped.
We'd much rather be overly cautious than risk a bug making its way through the pack and affecting lots of dogs (and staff! 😅).

Our priority is keeping everyone healthy, happy and playing safely, so we really appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

As always, if you're unsure whether your dog is okay to attend, just drop us a message and we'll be happy to advise. ❤️🐾

🐾 Everyone Meet Spud! 🐾

Some of you may already know this little character, but we're delighted to announce that Spud has officially passed his induction and become our newest pack member! 🎉

Now... don't let that adorable face fool you. As we've learned over the years:
Cute = Trouble 🤣

At this stage we're starting to think we need a few ugly dogs to balance things out... although we're not entirely convinced they actually exist! 😂

When Spud isn't busy chasing a ball (and absolutely refusing to bring it back), he's hanging off staff hoodie strings like a tiny furry wrecking ball 🤣🙈

The rest of his time is spent winding up the other dogs and generally causing puppy-sized chaos wherever he goes! 🐾😂

Thankfully, our older pack members have taken it upon themselves to keep the youngster in line... and they're doing a pretty decent job so far! 🤣🤣🤣

❤️🐾 From our own beloved companions, to the beautiful members of our pack who we've been privileged to know over the years, and to all of your cherished pets who are no longer by your side but will never be forgotten.

They may have left this world, but they leave behind a lifetime of memories, unconditional love, and paw prints that remain forever on our hearts. 🌈🐾

Dog Tyred Doggy Daycare – Kilroot, Carrickfergus

Are you passionate about dogs and confident handling a variety of breeds and personalities? We're looking for a Part-Time Doggy Daycare Assistant (18+) to join Dog Tyred Doggy Daycare.

What We're Looking For:

✅ Aged 18 or over
✅ Reliable, trustworthy and mature
✅ Flexible with working hours
✅ Able to work independently using your own initiative
✅ Able to work well as part of a group when required
✅ Confident handling multiple dogs at once
✅ Previous experience with dogs is essential
✅ Comfortable working in all weather conditions and maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Your Role Will Include:

🐶 Supervising and interacting with groups of dogs
🐶 Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all dogs in our care
🐶 Cleaning and maintaining daycare areas
🐶 Assisting with feeding, enrichment activities and daily routines
🐶 Working independently and taking responsibility for daily tasks
