Meet Steel, the handsome, 14-years-young Parson Russell Terrier, proving that age is just a number!
Steel sees our vet, Sally, for acupuncture to manage back pain and shoulder tension. He absolute loves his sessions - usually sitting right on Sally's feet while soaking up the needles and the attention that comes with them!
Thanks to his routine treatments, his mobility has transformed so much that he's back to his old cheeky terrier shenanigans that his owner worried were long gone. Transformations like these & seeing our patients happy again really does bring us so much joy!
Could your pet benefit from acupuncture? It’s a gentle, highly effective therapy for pets dealing with:-
🐾Chronic pain (arthritis or spondylosis)
🐾Post-surgery recovery
🐾Acute injuries or muscle tension
What to Expect During a Session:-
🐾Initial Consultation: A comprehensive 30-minute assessment to tailor a treatment plan specific to your pet.
🐾Follow-Ups: Quick, comfortable 15-minute appointments.
Routine:-
🐾We typically start with weekly sessions for 4 weeks, followed by a progress review.
Treatments are performed directly by our Western Veterinary Acupuncture Group (WVAG) trained vet, Sally. Sessions are calm, relaxing, and completely stress-free—many patients get so cozy they actually nod off!
How It Works:-
🐾The tiny, virtually painless needles stimulate nerve pathways, increase blood flow, and trigger the release of natural endorphins to reduce pain and accelerate healing naturally.
