🎄✨ We don’t want to use the C word too soon… but with the Ber months just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to start thinking ahead to when the special man in the red suit sprinkles his magic over us! 🎅🏻✨

And what better way to create a little Christmas magic for your loved ones than with a hand-drawn portrait of their beloved pet? 🐶🐱🐴❤️

We wanted to give a little shout-out to Catrin, a wonderful local artist, because I think you’ll all agree… she is extremely talented! 🎨🖌️

Dawn recently had a portrait done of her beloved Welsh Cob, Murphy 🐴❤️. There were many tears when the finished piece was presented, and it’s easy to see why. Catrin has captured Murphy’s character remarkably well, it really is such a beautiful keepsake to treasure for a lifetime. 🥹❤️

So, in the spirit of supporting local talent, if you have a special pet in mind who deserves to be immortalised in a beautiful portrait, please give Catrin a message. 💌

☀️🐾 Summer at Home From Home Cattery! 🐾☀️

What a summer it’s been so far! 😎🌞 We’ve had lots of lovely visitors through our doors over the summer holidays, and it’s been an absolute pleasure watching them settle in, make themselves at home and enjoy their own little holiday with us. 🥰🐱

While it’s been HOT, HOT, HOT outside 🥵☀️, our residents have been taking a much more sensible approach… 😴🤣 Cool, chilled, relaxed and very much embracing the holiday lifestyle! 🧊🐾💤

There are still a few weeks of the summer holidays left, and we have limited availability until mid-September 📅✨

So, if you’re thinking about a last-minute camping trip, a few days away with the kids, or just fancy squeezing in one final summer adventure 🏕️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦☀️ let us take care of your furry family members while you enjoy yourselves!

🐾 Home Needed for Jasper 🐾

Through no fault of his own,
much-loved Jasper is looking for a new home.

This is an incredibly difficult decision for his family, but due to changing family circumstances, we feel Jasper would benefit from finding a home where he can receive the time, attention and affection he deserves.

Jasper will be 9 years old in August. He is:
✔️ Neutered
✔️ Fully vaccinated
✔️ Treated monthly with NexGard Combo
✔️ Healthy and well cared for

Jasper absolutely adores people and is fantastic with children. If you’re looking for a cat who loves attention, cuddles and being the centre of your world, Jasper is your boy! Being fussed over is his favourite pastime, and he’ll happily soak up as much love as you’re willing to give.

He is not particularly comfortable around dogs and can be fearful of them. He would also be happiest as the only cat in the home, where he doesn’t have to share his humans or territory with other feline companions.

We are determined to find Jasper the right home where he can settle, feel secure and enjoy the love and companionship he thrives on.

It’s been a little while since we last posted ⏰
life at the cattery has been wonderfully busy, and the weeks have absolutely flown by! 🐾

We’ve had so many lovely feline guests staying with us recently, all with their own little personalities, routines, and favourite cosy spots 😻

Here are just a few photos of some of our recent visitors enjoying their holidays with us. We feel incredibly lucky to spend our days caring for such beautiful cats and getting to know each of them while they stay.

🧡Sharing some Yanto love 🧡

22 years young and running the place like he owns it (which, let’s be honest… he probably does).

This gorgeous gentleman is proof that cats don’t just have nine lives, they perfect each one. At 22 years young, Yanto has officially achieved “legend” status. That’s over 100 in human years!

He’s mastered the art of the slow blink, perfected the strategic nap, and still keeps a watchful eye on everything going on around him. Age is just a number when you’re this handsome.
