We had such a lovely day last Thursday at our Breast Cancer awareness coffee morning, we were incredibly grateful to all of our lovely clients for donating and coming down to support us! Also another huge thank you to our own RVN Geri Lloyd for putting in so much effort to decorate and set up for the event 🥰 we made just over £400 altogether which is incredible!

🧡🐱 Happy International Ginger Cat Day! 🐱🧡

On September 1st we celebrate those marmalade-mischief-makers, sunshine souls, absolutely adorable little lions ... those gorgeous joyful ginger cats who bring so much personality, mischief & love into our lives! 🍊🐈🧡

Did you know ginger cats often attract a lot of attention & can get adopted quicker than other coloured cats? 🐈🧡

Beneath their beautiful orange coat, they still need all the same care as every other cat... From regular health checks, vaccinations, dental care, parasite prevention & keeping an eye on their weight ... a little preventative care goes a long way towards keeping your ginger companion happy & healthy. 😺🩺🐾

And let’s be honest… ginger cats do seem to have a special talent for getting themselves into mischief! 😹

This young kitten has been found roadside in Cross Inn, Bwlch Newydd Road, and is currently in the care of Market Hall Vets St Clears. Unfortunately this little one is not microchipped.

Please call us if you think this kitten may be yours. Proof of ownership will be required via photos, knowledge of gender & any distinctive markings, etc.

This week we’ve loved welcoming back Kate, a 5th and final-year veterinary student who is training at the University of Bristol! 💙🎓🐾

Kate has been part of our team for several years through her university placements, and it really is like welcoming back an old colleague. She settled into the team from day one and has always been a cool, calm, collected, conscientious, knowledgeable and incredibly supportive member of the team. She’s also been a fantastic help to our veterinary nurses over the years.

Market Hall Vets is particularly special to Kate, as she actually had a weekend job with us during sixth form before heading off to university. She loves returning for her placements (sometimes twice a year! 👌😂), gaining experience across a wide variety of cases and caring for patients of all species. 🐶🐱🐰🐴

It’s always an absolute pleasure to have Kate back with us, and we’re incredibly proud and impressed with how far she has come.

We wish Kate every success with the remainder of her studies and we are sure this won't be the last we see of her! 🩺🐾💙👀
