Our new Dog Wash is already proving popular, so here are the answers to some questions you've been asking! 🙌
Where is the Dog Wash located? 🏡
At Unleashed Carlisle, Moorhouse Courtyard, Warwick-on-Eden, Carlisle, CA4 8PA.
It has its own entrance beside the courtyard, with dedicated parking spaces nearby and it is signposted. Directions are available on our website. (what3words: desire.pokes.grazes)
Can I use the dog wash without hiring the paddock? 🫧
You certainly can! The dog wash operates separately, so there’s no need to book the paddock. Simply park in the spaces next to the courtyard and use the separate dog-wash entrance.
How much does it cost? 👛
It’s £8 for 10 minutes, including shampoo, rinse water, conditioner, flea wash and low- or high-speed blow drying. Simply pay using the contactless card reader and select each setting as you work through the wash.
Do I need to bring my own shampoo? 💧
Nope! Shampoo, conditioner and flea wash are all included. Each product is automatically mixed with the water and dispensed through the nozzle - there’s nothing to measure or mix yourself.
Is the dryer suitable for nervous dogs? 🙈
The low blow-dry setting may be more comfortable for dogs that are sensitive to noise. Introduce it gradually and always follow your dog’s cues - you can also bring a towel if your dog would prefer it.
Does the wash use warm or cool water? 💦
The water temperature is adjusted according to the weather, helping to keep dogs comfortable throughout the year. It is pre-set before use and cannot be selected at the machine.
Will my large dog fit? 🦖
Yes! The generously sized bath has plenty of room for larger dogs.
When can I use the wash? 🕑
Anytime - although you might struggle without a torch as the nights draw in!
