🐾 A little get to know me 💕
I thought I’d do a little introduction for anyone who’s new here and tell you a bit about me and my own animals! 🥰
Animals have always been a HUGE part of my life. I grew up on a little smallholding surrounded by sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats & kittens 🐑🐔🐶🐱, so I’ve never really known life without animals!
My own dog journey started when I was 12. We went to see a litter of puppies and there was one little Jack Russell cross who came straight over, curled up and fell asleep in my arms. 🥹❤️ I think it was pretty much decided there and then that he was coming home with me and that day he was named Benji.
Benji was just the BEST and was my first very own dog. He taught me so much and started that really special bond I have with my own animals. 🐾❤️
Then, 5 years ago, I got Tomi 🐶❤️. Benji and Tomi got to spend a year together, before sadly it was just me and Tomi. We’ve been inseparable ever since! 🥰
Then 2 years ago, along came Buzz, my French Bulldog, who we rescued! 🐾 He has been such a brilliant addition to our family and has completely fitted in. Tomi and Buzz are now the absolute BEST of friends and are rarely seen apart! 😂❤️
And of course, there’s my boy Will 🐴❤️ — my horse who I absolutely adore. Horses have always been a huge passion of mine and he’s a massive part of my life too.
I think growing up around so many different animals, having family dogs and then having my own from such a young age has really shaped how I am with animals today. I love getting to know their individual personalities and making sure they feel happy, safe and, of course, get plenty of fuss! 🥰🐾
And that’s a huge part of why I started Tilly’s Tails. I know how much our animals mean to us — they’re not just pets, they’re family. ❤️
