Managed to stay upright the whole way on this walk!

It was so warm, and sunny - perfect 🤩

Nice little stroll today. Decided to go off-piste. MAJOR regrets!

Managed to slide down a ridiculously steep hill, upright, I might add! I was actually quite impressed with my balancing skills.

Finally made it to flat ground, only to nearly do the splits!

Quick look around to see if anyone had witnessed my spectacular performance. Nope, thank God!

Bailey clearly thought it was hilarious and started barking at me. Max didn’t give one 💩, and Lola just stood there looking at me as if to say, “What on earth are you doing?”

TRYING TO STAY UPRIGHT, LOLA!!

Failed miserably. 😂🙈

The two girls were at it as usual, but Penelope was a little bit hyper today. I had to tell her to chill out a few times! However it’s very hard when the sausage keeps going back for more 🙈

Otis and Tresco got involved in the craziness and barked at the girls a few times, and because Penelope doesn’t know Tresco, she listened (for a second) 😂

Bodie and Ollie just plodded along with us mere humans.

Full house today, and I had a feeling it was going to be a busy one! 😂

We had the crazy spaniel, Toto, and Indy together, which was umm……. 🤪

Indy started chasing Toto, but soon realised he was far too fast and was here, there and everywhere, so she quickly gave up! 😂

After about 45 mins, Toto finally started slowing down (a teeny tiny bit!), and Indy decided it was her chance to start chasing him again.

Poor Toto wasn’t quite sure what to make of this little Jug making gremlin noises as she followed him around!

Then we had our crazy little cockapoos!

Marnie and Freddie do the same thing when they’re playing. When they become a little unsure or want the chase to stop, they lie down. It was like watching someone play musical statues 😂

Tresco joined us and I could tell that there was something in the air today. He kept scanning the environment, which isn’t unusual, but then he ran into the bushes. When I called there was nothing! He eventually came out, nose down, tail going mad. I knew exactly what was happening , but before I could get hold of him, he disappeared again. He eventually came out and this time I was able to grab him.

He stayed on lead for the rest of the walk. It was the right decision because about 10mins later I heard the pheasant!!!

The sun was shining 🥳 and the dogs were chilled, well there’s always one who has the occasional craziness.

Don’t worry Indy I didn’t tell them it was you 😂

I had the wrong key for Barney today, so he ended up joining me on my second walk instead, bless him!

I thought he might be a bit reluctant, but how wrong was I.

The first thing he did when I let him off was head straight for the water, where he spent a good few minutes splashing around. Later on, he decided a good roll in the mud was needed too! 🙈

Everyone needed a shower down afterwards, but Barney needed the full-body treatment.

He really is such an amazing dog. I often use Barney to help others who struggle in being around other dogs.

He seemed to bring a lovely calmness to the group today. Everyone was so chilled and relaxed, even Teddy!! 😂🧘‍♀️

Love this boy!

It was wet, and very misty BUT my coat kept me dry, just about. I still think I need a new one, so if anyone has any recommendations I’m all ears!

We met a beagle on our way up, she barked and barked, obviously to alert her human that we were there. She was very cute and wanted to hang out with us. Indy went off to play, and the beagle reciprocated. I then noticed she was hanging back, sniffing on purpose. I love seeing dogs do that - very clever!

Then it was torrential, and I’m not going to lie, I don’t think any of us enjoyed it. My waterproofs need proofing again, because I was soaked. Only at the front? Maybe a new coat is in order…

I have to say though, even though it was torrential, these guys didn’t moan (I did that for them) 😂.

Everyone had to be showered down, and trying to dry dogs when it’s raining - well
you can only do your best.

I knew we’d have rain eventually, so it’s just a, suck it up sunshine moment!

So today, we had little Ruby refuse to walk because she was wearing a coat, and Gus who had a bit of a poo incident and also refused to walk.

So, I removed the coat, and assisted Gus with his bottom, and then we all got on our merry way 😂

This job is not glamorous one bit.

Plus it was raining, we don’t like the rain!
