Hello to you all!!
So, an update on the final Rolsen Siamese Catfest as we have come to know it 😔😔
The venue as I have said will be closing but I have managed to secure it for Friday 7th August from 5 until 10.30 (our usual slot) on that date.
I know not everyone will be able to make it for so many reasons, I also know it is mid summer etc, but sadly these are now circumstances I cannot change and the date has had to be set before we lose our ship 🛳️ 😢😢
That said, our Catfest get together’s have been a wonderful experience for me and a pleasure to host. This year I am sure will be no exception!!
As always, balloons, banners, fun, fabulous food and the yearly Rolsen cake 🍰 to enjoy, but most of all the company of good friends who all love cats as much as I do!!
Do let me know if you think you can join us and I can private message anyone who needs the venue details.
I want to say thankyou to you all for some wonderful years and memories already made.
Let’s make this one the best yet!!!

Friends, old and new . . some sad news 😢😢
Our annual get together at the Rolsen Catfest . . well you have all seen in the news “they that know best (whosoever they are!!)” have decided to close or sell off the Brewers Fayre chain. Many people are going to lose jobs and livelihoods, and sadly our regular haunt where we hold our wonderful get together is no exception. 😢😢
It appears at some point in September this will be its fate . I have known and loved this place and its people, since my children were very small. To say I’m upset for those there and memories yet to have been made, that no longer can be, is an understatement.
So . . . . . it’s up to you guys. I am happy to arrange Catfest 2026 . . Cat Friends are Forever, Not Just For Party Night!! if you all still want to go, but we have to pick a date in August if you do. I know not everyone will be able to make it, but let’s have your feedback for dates and I shall see what I can do this end. 7/14/21 or 28th August guys? I think it may be sensible with the impending outcome to go early August or last week of July.
This started as a one off, but I have loved the company and happiness this annual event has brought. Hope you all feel the same way ###
