Welcome to Ty Wyth Newydd Livery and Rehabilitation Yard. We offer various livery packages including schooling; breaking; sales; competition; rehabilitation; training; as well as in-house competitions and training. We aim to provide a relaxed and calm environment in which you and your horse can relax.

Vacancies

Now that the days are getting shorter and the incredible summer heat is starting to become a distant memory, its time to think of winter.

The grass is slowly overwhelming our current herd of 3, so to save the boys from themselves, we are looking for 2 geldings on Full livery to join our small herd.

We offer turnout all year no matter what the weather, they are currently out by night and in for a couple of hours during the day. When the winter wet hits they will come in overnight.

Included is day-to-care, hay, bedding (upto 2 bags), daily turnout and bring in, use of facilities.

We are a quiet, friendly and supportive yard where your horse's needs are put first.

Easy access off Jct34 M4 (5mins) and A48

Full livery is open to those looking for short term/ long term, we can also offer rehabilitation livery with use of small individual recovery paddocks.

⚠️URGENT⚠️
Looking for a client

They have just been given 3 months notice to move their horses and donkeys as yard closing for repairs.

Looking for around 10 acres, stables not necessary a barn will do as they live out. A mixture of 4 donkeys, 2 horses and some shetlands.

Good payer, looks after the land and animals. Not looking for livery just a field to rent. Most areas considered.

VACANCIES

Fields are having their final top so the grass can thicken and grow a nice sward ready for winter, which will mean less mud 🤞. As you can see the fields have plenty of natural shelter, no matter which way the wind blows.

Due to liveries moving to their own land and due to a relationship breakup, we will have a couple of spaces for Full Livery from August.

Our Full Livery package includes hay, bedding (upto 2 bags), turnout and bring in, general day to day care and use of the facilities.

The spaces are for geldings only and herd turnout. It will be in a group of about 6 geldings.

We have always been a quiet yard and are even quieter now, therefore we are looking for someone who enjoys peace and quiet with no drama, who is respectful and friendly.
We turnout every day all year round. They are currently out over night and in for about 4 hours during the day. They will come in over night during winter.

Please note:
Over 18s only
No DIY
No dogs
Negative strangles test required

Hi All,
Just to say I have created a group Ty Wyth Newydd Stables Horse and Yard Selling Page as we are currently in the process of a massive clear out and tidy up.
If anybody is looking for anything horse and yard related, have a look at the group. More and more items will be added in the forthcoming weeks. Everything is reasonably priced. Collection is preferred but will post at buyers expense.
Collection at the yard or can meet at Jct 34 M4.

CURRENT VACANCIES

We currently have space for a gelding on Full livery with group turnout .

What we can offer:
💠 small quiet, friendly and supportive yard
💠 turnout all year, no matter what the weather
💠 gelding only field
💠 small herd turnout either 3 in 4 acres or about 7 in 15 acres
💠 in for about 4 to 5 hours during the day for a snooze 😴😴
💠 12 x 12 rubber matted stable with a view
💠 large outdoor school (60 x 30m) with mirrors and a selection of jumps
💠 lovely hacking in Hensol Forestry various bridleways and Cowbridge Common
💠 good road links to Jct34 M4 and A48
💠 grass paddock to play in
💠 various therapies or rehabilitation offered on site- access to Salt Therapy, certified Equine Hanna Somatics practitioner, and an Equine Behavioural Consultant.

Our livery package includes hay, bedding (upto 2 bags of straw pellets), rug changes (if needed), use of the facilities etc.

This post is really to just address any misinformation that may be currently floating around.

Yes our property was up for sale
Yes our property has sold

But we are lucky enough to be renting part of it back for the foreseeable.
What we now offer has slightly changed and we are now operating on a much smaller scale.

We are offering Full livery and Assisted DIY (with add on services if needed)) for geldings only at the moment. There will be a maximum of 10 horses.

We currently have space for 2 geldings on Full livery to share a field with one older semi retired gelding.

We will also have 2 spaces for Assisted DIY coming up soon.

CURRENT VACANCIES

We are pleased to say that we are now here for the foreseeable and so can now offer long term livery again 🥳

The yard will be run on a much smaller scale, operating from the courtyard stables.

We can offer a quiet, friendly and supportive yard with use of a large outdoor school with a variety of jumps; a field to play in when dry; fab hacking on the doorstep in Hensol Forestry, various bridleways and Cowbridge Common.

We have limited availability with a couple of spaces for Full livery and potentially Assisted DIY. These spaces are for:

✅ Geldings only
✅ Herd Turnout only

❌ Sorry but no under 16s
❌ No dogs
