August is Immunisation Month!

Why are vaccinations important?

Vaccinations provide vital protection against serious diseases that can cause severe illness or death.

In cats, we vaccinate against cat flu viruses, as well as Feline Leukaemia virus and Panleucopenia (aka cat Parvo Virus). After an initial double course as kittens, they then require just a single yearly booster vaccination.

Before vaccinating your pet, we'll carry out a full clinical examination to make sure they are fit and well. This gives us a valuable opportunity to spot any potential health concerns early.
