Good morning everyone !

So as you all are aware Joshua Osling often assists me with larger projects and I genuinely can not praise him enough, he is knowledgable, hard working and reliable!

BUT he thinks he is a comedian!

As we began to fill this huge 5 foot 450 litre brand new aquarium I heard the words every one of us in the hobby dread….

“Mike theres a leak you need to come and take a look !”

There was indeed a leak … a vegetable that he had planted for me to find, very funny Mr comedian 🤦🏼‍♂️😂!

Goodmorning everyone.

This weekend Josh and I installed an absolutely beautiful Juwel Rio 350 aquarium and cabinet for a customer I have known since my days behind the counter at Aquatic World.

Carl had contacted us and explained that he would like to install an aquarium in the reception area of his waiting room at his dentist surgery.

We had a phone consultation and Carl had all the information he needed to purchase the aquarium and accessories we would need to begin the project.

It was decided that Carl wanted a 5 foot 450 litre centre piece for his reception area!

The aquarium was delivered to my brothers shop Aquatic World by the wholesaler and we collected it straight into our spacious and clean vauxhall Vivaro.

We are proud to professionally deliver larger aquariums securely with ample space, no squeezing items into the back of a boot with Mikeys Aquatic Services!

Of course the project is not complete yet as we need customise the aquarium lid to accommodate the external pipework, introduce plants and more bog wood (once its been sufficiently soaked and wont tan the water)

Moving forward we will make regular visits to the surgery in order to keep the aquarium looking spotlessly clean !

Good morning everybody.

This week we had our first visit to a new customer named Leighton who owns Harringtons Barbers in Cardiff Bay.

Leighton is an established highly recognised barber who has a busy business with customers visiting through out the day for their fresh hair cuts.

The shops aquarium is proudly situated in the waiting area of his busy shop for his customers to enjoy.

Mikeys Aquatic Services had been recommended to Leighton through one of his customers when they noticed that his aquarium was in need of some TLC.

We visited Leighton at the shop to have a discussion in relation to what he would like from our services and he decided that he would like the aquarium completely reset and to incorporate his shop logo, he gave us complete freedom to develop a design and a date was booked in to complete the project.

We believe that the most important part of building an excellent professional customer relationship is understanding our customers and what they need and expect from us as a company!

Mikeys Aquatic Services absolutely love working with our local community!

We Proudly maintain this beautiful aquarium for Rhiw Syr Dafydd Primary School, Blackwood, Caerphilly

In the last few months its had a full reset, with new plants, ocean rocks and bog wood!

We have also introduced new fish for the pupils and visitors to enjoy, and strategically given both external filters and good clean (at different times to retain the bacteria culture)

The aquarium provides a safe place for the pupils and staff to take a minute out of their day take deep breath and continue to enjoy their day at school !

During a visit some of the tasks we complete are as follows

Full spectrum water testing with an API master testing kit✔️

Clean of aquarium glass and lightning✔️

Syphon vacuum to remove debris and fish waste✔️

50% waterChange and water treatment✔️

Outside aquarium polish and cabinet polish ✔️

🎉CUSTOMER OF THE WEEK. WEEK 2. 🎉

We would like to acknowledge this weeks customer of the week Lewys Richards.

Lewys is a New Customer of Mikeys Aquatic Services.

We initially visited Lewys for a consultation in regards to his Five Foot aquarium

Since then we have built a fantastic customer relationship and after completing a full overhaul of his five foot  cichlid community aquarium we have also converted another of his freshwater community aquariums to a beautiful marine ecosystem!
