Buddy is going on his own little holiday this weekend and I thought I’d take the opportunity to show you what’s needed when packing for boarding! Food - portioned with enough for his stay, plus an extra scoop just in case! His food scoop - ‘about this amount’ means your dog could come home either over or underweight! His bed - I don’t always need beds as we have spare, but if your dog loves their bed then it’s always best to pack it. Notice I haven’t packed 40 toys, a month’s supply of food, 700 coats and jumpers and 74 packets of treats? 😂 Storage is limited for one dog, let alone an extra 4 so please pack light when your dog comes to stay!

Poppy (on the left) had a rough start to her little life being used extensively for breeding, her lovely owners rescued her and she’s been joining us for daycare for a good few months now. We’ve gone from her staying by the front door, not wanting to join us on walks to now posing with friends and refusing to leave my side. She is the sweetest girl and proof that given the right environment, even the most shut down dogs can thrive 🩷
