🐶Prevents impulsive reactions. Reactive dogs can respond quickly to triggers, often before their owner has time to intervene. A reliable “wait” creates a moment to assess the situation.

🐶Builds impulse control. It teaches the dog that seeing another dog, person or exciting distraction doesn’t automatically mean they should approach or react.

🐶Improves safety off lead. If another dog, cyclist, wildlife or a potential hazard appears, “wait” can prevent the dog from rushing into a dangerous situation.
