Absolutely delighted that INT FTCH Knockyclovaun Ralph “Jinx” won the Ulster Retriever Club’s two-day stake! 🏆 His win means he has now qualified for the IGL Retriever Championship for the fourth time. To make the day even better FTW Liskoney Heisenberg “Ford” (who is the son of Jinx) gained his 3rd COM in open stakes! It was a brilliant but tough trial, with plenty of game and challenging retrieves. The guns shot exceptionally well throughout, giving the dogs every opportunity to show what they could do.
A huge thank you to Kevin for hosting the trial, to the judges, the guns, and the spaniel men and women for all their work over the two days. A special mention to John Dawson for the hard work he has put in since taking on the role of Field Trial Secretary.
Thanks also to Skinner's Field & Trial for their continued support. Massive congratulations to Oliver Bell for his 2nd gaining him B Qualification. Well done to Kieron Coey and John Peach for being awarded 3rd and 4th respectively and Oliver Bells young dog Mick who also gained a COM. Looking forward to heading back to the IGL with Jinx! 🐾

Yesterday we were delighted to be at the fantastic Drumlanrig Estate by kind permission of The Duke of Buccleuch and head keeper Rab Clark for SWSGA 2 Day Stake.
This has to be one of the best grounds we have the privilege to be on and certainly the hospitality we receive from Ally Clark and his fantastic team is first class.

Making it into the 2nd day with only 8 dogs left with both dogs, father and son “Jinx and Ford” I was elated to be awarded 2nd place with INT FTCH Knockyclovaun Ralph gaining B qualification for IGL.

Massive congratulations to Louise for coming 1st - very nice work over the 2 days 👏🏼
Well done to my father in law Robin Drysdale for 3rd and David Latham for his COM.

Thank you to the judges, committee, guns and all involved at the estate for their time.
A special mention to David and Liz Lisett for all their hospitality and work behind the scenes.

We were also thrilled that John Dawson was awarded 2nd Place at NIFSS 1 Day Open Stake yesterday with his dog Cialfo Rono of Balleyvalley 👏🏼

Thank you to my sponsor Skinner's for all the continued support every year.
