Hi everyone!!

Payments and Confirmation of bookings should now be completed, ready for class start this afternoon!!

5pm Silver/Gold combined class - Amanda
6pm Bronze - 2 classes running - Sue and Becca/Lyn
7pm Puppy class - 2 classes running - Sue and Becca

Just a reminder of what you need to bring with you and ID tag law info. ..

++👉 PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOUR CLASS MIGHT BE RUNNING ALONGSIDE ANOTHER CLASS AT THE SAME TIME SO PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF OTHERS AROUND YOU.

Please bring:
-treats for your dog to reward for them as we go through the session (soft easily palatable treats not big crunchy biscuits!)

-a mat or bed for your dog to rest in between exercises and to use for go to bed exercise.

-a toy to play with

-your dog on a flat buckle collar, with an attached legal ID tag (see below 👇)

- a fixed lead (NOT an extension lead with the big heavy handle!)

-if your dog is on a harness please make sure it's well fitting (We will check this and give advice when you come)

For yourself please wear sensible flat soles shoes and clothing with a pocket to store your treats and a big smile and sense of humor (dog training is fun!) We hope!! 😂

👉 ID TAG LAW UK
Under the Control of Dogs Order 1992, all dogs in public places in the UK must wear a collar with a tag or badge showing the owner’s name and address.

Violating this law can result in a fine of up to £5,000.

Legal Requirements: Owner's Name: Telephone number: Address & Postcode.

Placement: Must be on a collar, or a plate/badge attached to the collar, while in any highway or public space.

Penalties: Fines up to £5,000 for non-compliance

☝️ We do check this, and microchips. We will not be able to pass anyone who doesn't comply with the law by the end of the course assessment.

☝️ Note: if you go to Pets at Home or a pet shop who doesn't know the law feels free to educate them!! Do not accept anything less than the legal requirements!

The entrance to the class is raised £75 in total Elham Dog Training Club then made the total up by donation to £100 - This was donated to the Folkestone and Hythe Lions to be shared amongst our local charities who need it the most.
