🐾 National Dog Day 🐾

Today is all about the dogs — the ones who greet you like you’ve been gone for a week when it’s only been ten minutes, somehow take up the whole sofa, and know exactly when the treat cupboard has been opened. 🐶

They’re part of the family, and sometimes they just need a bit of company, a fuss, fresh water, dinner or someone to check everything is okay while you’re out.

That’s exactly what Ed’s Pet Services is here for — friendly, reliable pop-in visits in your pet’s own home.

And because it’s National Dog Day, here’s an important question…

What’s the funniest or strangest thing your dog does?
Pop a photo in the comments too — I’d love to see them! 📸🐕

One of the things I include with my visits is a quick update afterwards.

When you're away from home, it's reassuring to know that your pet has been checked, fed and is happily settled.

So after a visit I'll send you a message or photo to let you know how everything went.

It only takes a moment, but hopefully means you don't spend the rest of the day wondering what they're up to! Although I'm not sure if I'm being slightly judged by Molly❤️ ...

Meet one of my own pets 🐱

As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust looking after them when you’re not there.

I’m very used to caring for cats and understand that every one is different — This is Tiny who we rescued when he was 12weeks old. Unfortunately his previous owner couldn’t cope with him after his accident where he lost the use of his back legs and they re homed him.

He still loves life and gets around the house and the garden very well and sometimes at great speed(still catches mice!). The only difference is, he needs to have his bladder expressed a few times a day. He still loves his cuddles and of course, his food!
