Hi, I’m Carys, the City & Guilds trained groomer behind Coat & Comb. I offer professional 1-2-1 dog grooming from my home in Canonbie. We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming sweet Mitzie the Jackahuahua into the studio for her very first groom with us today! She settled in so nicely and was such a total star for her debut pamper session.

Following her owner's instructions, we gave her coat a smart, smooth clip all over to keep her feeling neat, light, and low-maintenance! After a relaxing bath and gentle dry, we carefully hand-scissored around her cute little face and paws to frame those gorgeous, expressive brown eyes and marvellous ears.

We gave his plush coat the full luxury pamper treatment! After a relaxing, deep-cleansing bath and blowout, we styled his coat to keep it soft, lightweight, and super comfortable. We carefully hand-scissored around his face and muzzle to frame those striking dark eye patches and let his big, happy smile shine right through.

We had the total delight of welcoming handsome Woody the Labrador into the studio for his very first groom with us today! He settled in like an absolute champion and showed off the happiest, tail-wagging enthusiasm on the table.

To get his lovely fox-red coat in tip-top shape, we treated him to a full deshedding spa treatment! We used our specialized deshedding shampoo and conditioner to release all that stubborn undercoat, followed by a thorough blow-dry and a deep brush-out.

He left feeling so much lighter, wonderfully sleek, and super soft—and just look at that happy tongue-out smile posing for his portrait! 😍 📸

We had the absolute privilege of welcoming the handsome Buddy the Terrier into the studio for his very first groom with us today! At 13 years young, this sweet gent was an absolute dream to work with and took his pamper session completely in his stride.

Because comfort and care always come first—especially for our senior friends—we worked at a lovely, gentle pace. We carefully hand stripped his wire jacket to remove his dead coat while preserving that rich texture and colour, then gently scissored and tidied up his face, legs, and paws to leave him looking crisp and dapper.

We had the absolute joy of having a lovely family dynamic in the studio today! Sweet Daisy the King Charles Cavalier came in for her very first groom with us, accompanied by her gorgeous granddaughter, Skye the Cavapoo!

Daisy was a total darling for her debut salon experience, taking to the grooming process with complete grace. We gave her beautiful coat a luxury wash, dry, and traditional neat trim to highlight her classic Cavalier charm.
